I know it’s Christmas because, I can see the big, green, Christmas trees.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can see the wreaths hanging from every door.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can see Christmas lights shining in the streets.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can see the frozen lakes waiting to be thawed by summer’s heat.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can see the candles being lit by the window.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can hear the sleigh bells ringing.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can hear Santa Claus saying, “Ho ho ho!”

I know it’s Christmas because, I can hear people saying, “Merry Christmas!”

I know it’s Christmas because, I can hear the crunch of snow beneath my feet.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can hear Santa’s reindeer crunching carrots.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can taste the cookies, fresh from the oven.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can taste the candy canes wrapped just for me.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can taste the delicious caramel apples.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can taste the Christmas candies straight from the store.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can taste the sweet taste of frost on my tongue.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can feel the warmth in the air as family gathers together.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can feel the gift wrap of the presents.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can feel Santa’s soft beard as he walks through my house.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can feel the warm fire as I drink hot chocolate.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can feel the crumbly cookies as they collapse in my hands.

I know it’s Christmas because, I can smell the smoke of the scented candles as it blows through the air.
