The fourth graders performed a science experiment using milk, food coloring, dish soap, and cotton swabs. They observed the food coloring racing away from the point where the soap was added, which broke the surface tension and weakened the fat and protein bonds naturally found in milk. The students enjoyed doing this experiment and are excited to do more!
